Our favorite apartment in the very heart of Barcelona, a stones throw from the Rambla and Placa de Catalunya, which is the centre of the restaurant and bar scene. In a renovated building with an elevator, the apartment has a lot of light, modern furniture and views over a lovely courtyard through large sliding windows. Sleeping up to 6 people, this apartment is great value for groups of 4 and above. Air conditioned throughout and also very comfortable. There is a "Holmes Place" gym downstairs for those who have membership. Other attractions in the area include the museum of Contemporary Art, the Picasso museum, the Gran Teatre de Liceu (the opera house), La Boqueria marketplace, and the Gothic Quarter with its museums and cathedral.
