Located in the charming Islington area of London, which is just a 20 minute Tube ride from the centre of the sprawling metropolis with its incredible shopping streets, magnificent historic buildings and quite possibly the entertainment centre of the world, this apartment gives you the best of the heart of London and the peace of the suburbs. The apartment itself has two bedrooms, can accommodate a maximum of 5 people and has been furnished with a distinct accent on comfort. The apartment has been very well equipped, having a fully fitted kitchen, a washing machine and a television for those nights when you just feel like relaxing on a sofa. The Central Heating System in Carena 1 was designed by Heating Engineers to provide adequate heat for the apartment with each radiator fitted with thermostatic valves so that people can control the room temperature to suit individual requirements. Being in the Islington district, which itself has a vibrant nightlife, there are plenty of pubs and bars in the vicinity as well as many excellent restaurants serving up a wide variety of fare, whether that be traditional British food or French, Thai, Indian or Caribbean there is something to keep every tastebud happy. The Tourist Authority in their last report dated 15 February 2006 awarded Carena 80 % for cleanliness and very good for Space/Comfort/Ease of use.
